Golden Pines RV Resort & Campground is a quiet, family-friendly campground located at 5000' elevation in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Here among the towering trees of the Stanislaus National Forest our park has become a favorite destination for travelers throughout the United States and Europe. Some go out exploring, while others are content to stay and enjoy the peace of the forest in this secluded park. It's up to you!
Our location makes us a great base camp for all of your favorite outdoor activities. Whether you plan on going hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, hunting, paddling on an alpine lake, spelunking, wine tasting or just want to relax, Golden Pines is perfectly located for exploring all that the northern Sierra have to offer.

Bath and Shower Facilities
We have two bath and shower facilities. Both feature full flush toilets and coin-operated hot showers. The lower facility is also home to our coin-op laundry machines, which are available exclusively to our campers.
The lower facility is open year-round, and the upper facility is only open seasonally, usually from Memorial Day weekend through Thanksgiving.

Swimming Pool
Our pool season is determined by the weather, but generally the pool will be open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The large shallow end is kid-friendly, and the deep end is only 6'. No diving and no lifeguard on duty. Children under 14 must be attended by an adult when in the pool area.

The Lodge
The Golden Pines Lodge is available to rent for private groups and parties for $58/day. The Lodge is equipped with a full kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and a deck overlooking the forest. It's the perfect spot for a large gathering! Please contact us for availability.
Cell Phone Reception
Verizon gets a very strong 4G signal. Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T and the rest are not likely to have signal at our location.
WiFi
The internet connection at the campground is so slow that we do not offer park wide wifi. If you need internet connection while camping with us, we recommend bringing along a Verizon MiFi (the only cell phone provider that works in the area) or visiting the local Arnold library, which has great internet connectivity.
